Wolverhampton taxi firm makes up-market executive move

Wolverhampton-based private hire operator Wednesfield Radio Cars has expanded its services by launching an executive chauffeur operation.

In particular, the company believes the service will help it grow its long-standing relationship with Wolverhampton Wanderers football club.

It is the latest development for a company which has been helping keep the city on the move for 25 years, providing private taxis, executive travel, airport transfers and multi seat people carriers for private individuals and companies.

A mix of Mercedes-Benz and BMW cars have joined the fleet. Wednesfield Radio Cars assistant manager Tim Sharma said the move was a response to the needs of the ever-changing market. “We are now the first executive travel company in Wolverhampton to provide chauffeur-driven car travel for executives of a level until now found only in London,” he said.

Sharma added: “We have been the official taxi company for Wolverhampton Wanderers for more than 25 years and it has been a privilege to have worked with the chairman, chief executive and all the players and we look forward to many more years of association with the club.”
