Three more awards takes GLH’s QSi grand total to nine
GLH won three Awards on the night, taking its total of QSi prizes to nine since the QSi Awards started in 2013 – more than any other company.
The north London private hire company won the Silver award in the Private Hire Operator, 81+ vehicles category of the 2016 QSi Awards, as well as Bronze awards in the Community and Environment categories.
Professional Driver magazine editor Mark Bursa said: “GLH is an impressive business that always makes a persuasive case in the QSi Awards, having won Gold in 2013. With a highly professional approach that puts local service and sustainability at the top of the list of priorities, GLH claims a 97% customer retention figure, proving that the best way to fight aggressive rivals is to hang on to your customers.”
Engagement with two local schools and sponsorship of local sports teams, summer fetes and festivals are all part of the company’s community investment programme. Initiatives have an eco-friendly message which mirrors GLH’s ‘green transport’ ethos.
Mark Bursa added: “GLH has also taken a systematic approach to cutting carbon emissions. GLH uses vehicle choice, eliminating dead mileage and managing the environmental policies from board level to stationery department.”
