Car of the Year is free of charge to registered visitors.
Yes, however they must register beforehand in order to drive any of the cars.
You must be over the age of 25.
If you wish to drive atCar of the Year you are required to:
1. Bring a copy of your driving licence summary which you can download less than 72 hours before the event: Download Licence Summary
You will be asked to provide your:
- Driving licence number
- National insurance number
- Post code
After submitting these you will be taken to a page where you can download your licence summary. Click on the last tab on this page:
You can then print your driving licence summary PDF. There is a facility to print off these summary forms on site, however this may delay your registration process.
2. You will also need to bring along your photo card driving licence. If you do not have a photo card licence then please bring your paper licence and another form of photographic ID.
3. Please also remember to bring your Badge ID. This is on your registration confirmation email.

No, we have to see the original.
No, you need to have a full driver’s licence to drive.
Your pass would be sent to you electronically. If you lost your pass, you would be able to get a replacement at the registration desk.
Yes, if you are over the age of 18.
On arrival at Epsom Racecourse, the marshals will then direct you to the Judges parking area to park your car.
