Bishop’s Stortford-based Associated Taxis is the latest large regional operator to join the growing Take Me Group network.

Associated Taxis’ location near Stansted Airport also opens up strategic opportunities to consolidate work in the region, Take Me CEO David Hunter said. “We’re excited to keep growing together.”

Associated Taxis is Bishop’s Stortford’s leading private hire and taxi provider, and the company is widely recognised for its adoption of cutting-edge technology and its advanced passenger app,

Hunter said: “By joining Take Me, Associated Taxis has secured a significant opportunity to strengthen and grow its position within both the local and wider community – ensuring continuity for its drivers and its customers for years to come.”

With the technical support of Take Me’s experienced team, Associated Taxis has successfully developed and now operates its own south-east regional operating platform, fully integrated under Take Me’s national iCabbi operating system, having moved from Cab 9.

Hunter said: “We have been working closely with them to transition from Cab 9 to iCabbi, which went extremely smoothly thanks to the professionalism of our team, led by Liam Brewster, our CITO. Already we have seen an uplift in job numbers, driver recruitment, and driver retention.”

“We look forward to growing the business together with our wider team and supporting them through our marketing, accounts, and national accounts department via our newly launched Take Me One division. This will also help us aggregate work into this area, which is strategically positioned close to Stansted Airport.
